The series features the TomoHDA system, which includes Accuray’s new TomoEDGE jaws technology designed to provide users with added flexibility in treatment delivery by sharpening dose fall off and accuracy, according to the company. It also includes VoLO technology, which is designed to be an enhancement to the TomoTherapy treatment planning system and leverage the new dose calculation algorithm and advanced graphics processing technology.
The TomoHDA System was unveiled at the 54th Annual American Society for Radiation Oncology meeting in Boston.
