Kremer Eye Center has announced it has invested in the iFS femtosecond laser, according to a news release.
The laser will be used in Kremer Eye Center's three surgical centers in King of Prussia, Pa., Cherry Hill, N.J., and Wilmington, Del.
The iFS laser prepares an eye for LASIK surgery without a blade ever touching it. It is an advanced form of the bladeless IntraLase Method, according to the release.
"We are dedicated to staying on the forefront of LASIK technology, and the iFS laser represents the modern standard-of-care in vision correction worldwide," said Michael Aronsky, MD, one of Kremer's managing surgeons, in the release. "NASA astronauts and U.S. pilots can have LASIK today because of the exclusive, validated safety and precision performance of the IntraLase Method — and we're proud to offer our patients this same advantage."
