Kentucky Eye Institute added David Greenburg, MD, a comprehensive ophthalmologist, to its physician team.
Dr. Greenburg provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, with expertise in cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma laser procedures and anterior segment and oculoplastic procedures, according to an Aug. 31 news release shared with Becker’s.
Before specializing in ophthalmology, Dr. Greenburg practiced internal medicine and served as a primary care physician, hospitalist, medical educator and researcher while on active duty with the U.S. Army. His 22-year military career included leadership roles at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Womack Army Medical Center and Tripler Army Medical Center.
Dr. Greenburg sees patients at Kentucky Eye Institute’s Lexington and Maysville locations.
