Dr. Duker is charged with overseeing the company’s clinical development, research, product development and manufacturing.
He served on EyePoint’s board of directors from 2016 until 2020, when he was named the company’ s chief strategic scientific officer. Before joining EyePoint, he served as director ofBoston-based New England Eye Center and was chair of the ophthalmology department at Tufts Medical Center and the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
He has also co-founded three startup companies, including Hemera Biosciences, a gene therapy company acquired by Janssen Pharmaceuticals in 2020.
Mr. Duker chairs the board of directors at Sesen Bio, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company.
