Eyenovia expands with 2 new manufacturing facilities

Ophthalmic technology company Eyenovia is expanding its U.S. manufacturing facilities through new openings in Redwood City, Calif., and Reno, Nev.

Eyenovia specializes in the commercialization and development of Optejet, a device used for presbyopia and pediatric progressive myopia. 

The Redwood facility, which was announced operational in 2022, focuses on Optejet pharmaceutical manufacturing finishing operations, including drug loading, labeling and packaging prior to distribution, according to a June 6 press release. 

The new 10,000-square-foot Reno facility will focus on device manufacturing.
