California eye center to add ophthalmologist

Crown City Eye Center in Coronado, Calif., is adding ophthalmologist Thomas Avallone, MD, to its team of providers, according to an Oct. 23 report by Coronado Eagle & Journal.

Dr. Avallone specializes in glaucoma, cataract, anterior-segment and refractive surgeries. 

He will start seeing patients at Crown City in November. 

Dr. Avallone will join William Bigham, MD, and Abhishek Bajpai, OD, according to the practice’s website.
