Red Bank, N.J.-based Atlantic Eye has added Frieman Ophthalmology to its network, bringing ophthalmologists Lawrence Frieman, MD, and Brett Frieman, DO, onto its physician team, The Monmouth Journal reported July 6.
The move expands Atlantic Eye’s medical and surgical eye care presence in Monmouth County, N.J. Atlantic Eye also operates Atlantic Surgery Center, Atlantic Optical and WINK Aesthetics + Wellness.
Dr. Frieman has practiced in Red Bank for more than 50 years. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark and completed his ophthalmology residency at Beth Israel Medical Center of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease and uveitis.
Dr. Brett Frieman has served the Red Bank community for more than 22 years. He earned his D.O. from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his residency at UMDNJ/New Jersey Medical School. He also teaches cataract surgery to ophthalmology residents at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
