ARVO Past President to be Knighted at UK Queen’s Birthday Honors

Peng Tee Khaw, MD, PhD, FARVO, the immediate past president of The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, will be knighted at the U.K. Queen’s birthday honors.

Dr. Khaw is the director of the U.K. National Institute for Health Research Biomedical Research Centre in Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology in London. He also serves as the director of research and development at Moorfields Eye Hospital and eye and vision program director at UCL Partners.

Dr. Khaw is the only U.K.-based ARVO member to have served as the organization’s president.
