Dr. Donnenfeld currently serves as surgeon director of Lions Eye Bank of Long Island in Valley Stream, N.Y., Connecticut national medical director of TLC Laser Eye Centers and clinical professor of ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center.
He previously served as the ASCRS vice president. Dr. Donnenfeld is the 28th ASCRS president.
