Surgical Notes, a provider of documentation management for healthcare settings, has released a mobile application for wireless dictation and transcription for iPhone and iPad.
The application is HIPAA-compliant and uploads dictations automatically to the Surgical Notes server, where it is transcribed, proof-read and sent back to the physician, who can electronically sign a single report or a batch of reports, according to a news release.
The app is available through iTunes.
