Massachusetts Bill Would Allow Surgeries to be Videotaped

Massachusetts lawmakers are discussing a proposed bill that would allow licensed medical videographers to tape surgical procedures if the patient pays for the taping, according to a My FOX Boston report.

According to the report, hospitals that refuse to comply with the law would face a $10,000 fine. A copy of the surgery tape would be given to the hospital for its records.

A hearing on the proposed law is set for Tuesday at the state House.
