The Foundation hosted a “Roaring 20’s Soiree” earlier this year to raise money. Here are four quick facts about the foundation:
• It was founded in 2001
• More than $1.3 million has been raised for charitable beneficiaries
• The Foundation raised $120,000 at the 2014 event
• This year’s fundraising dollars went to Baylor Health Care Systems Cancer Department and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
The Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission “to create and perpetrate an environment of charitable giving, to foster hope and personal growth, to support medical research and to enhance the lives of people in need.”
