Healthcare industry adds 22k+ jobs in March

The healthcare industry added 22,300 jobs in March 2015, according to the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs report.

Ambulatory healthcare services added 19,200 jobs from February to March 2015, and jobs in outpatient care centers increased by 3,300 in the same time period.

Without the seasonal adjustment, which removes the effect of fluctuations due to seasonal events, the healthcare industry employed 14,885.7 people in February 2015 and 14,928.3 in March.
