Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery to host live cataract procedure

The Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery will host a live surgery event in conjunction with the 2014 American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting.

Alcon Surgical is hosting the event where David Lubeck, MD, John Berdahl, MD, Rosa Braga-Mele, MD, and Jonathan Rubenstein, MD, will be performing live surgery. They will demonstrate techniques using Alcon technologies for cataract surgery, including the CENTURION Vision System, VERION Image Guided System and LenSx Laser.

The surgery will be broadcast live to the audience at the AAO event to more than 3,000 surgeons.
