Carolina ENT Head and Neck Surgery Center Now Offers Baha 3 Hearing Loss Treatment

Carolina Ear, Nose & Throat Head and Neck Surgery Center in Hickory, N.C., is now offering its patients the Cochlear Baha 3 implant system, according to a Gaston Gazette report.

The Baha is a surgically implantable system for treatment of hearing loss that works through direct bone conduction.

 

Willard Harrill, MD, FACS, president and CEO of the surgery center, performs the procedure at the ASC; the surgery takes about half an hour.
