BIOLASE Technology, a leading dental laser manufacturer and distributor, has been issued a patent for its laser technologies for treating various conditions of the eye, according to a news release.
BIOLASE holds several other patents in the area of ophthalmology, and this most recent patent expands the application of the laser technology to include treatment of presbyopia, glaucoma, retinal disorders and cataracts.
