B. Braun signed a distribution agreement with Proxy Biomedical — 5 things to know

Global implant company B. Braun Surgical renewed their distribution agreement with Proxy Biomedical for the premium synthetic ventral hernia repair product.

Here are five things to know about the agreement:

1. The MotifMESH MacroPorous NW Implant will be distributed through the existing Closure Technologies commercial teams to global territories outside the United States.

2. B. Braun will distribute the technology under the company's Omyra Mesh brand name.

3. The agreement is for the next five years.

4. MotifMESH is the first monolayer, non-coated mesh with anti-adhesive and bacterial resistant properties supporting a new concept for hernia repair with the anti-adhesive mesh category.

5. The renewed partnership will boost B. Braun's continued effort to grow their global hernia repair market share.
