AmSurg Acquisitions Spark Company Growth, Need for Larger Headquarters

Ambulatory surgery center operator AmSurg is searching for larger headquarters, after rapid expansion in recent years through a series of acquisitions, according to a Nashville Business Journal report.

The company, which operates more than 220 ambulatory surgery centers nationwide, is looking for more than 100,000 square feet of new or existing office spaces. According to the report, 2011 was the biggest year of acquisitions for the company in the last five years.
