Work on the joint venture Grass Lake (Mich.) Surgery Center is progressing according to plan, MLive reports.

1. The center is being built by a group of local neuro and orthopedic surgeons, who partnered with Detroit-based Henry Ford Allegiance Health and Brighton, Mich.-based Advanced Orthopedic Specialists.

2. The surgery center will provide orthopedic and spinal care.
