What you should know:
1. Wheeling Hospital purchased the vacant Compassionate Care Center for Surgical Excellence site in Bridgeport. It will renovate the facility and rename it the Wheeling Hospital Ambulatory Surgical Center.
2. The ASC could open as soon as August.
3. In addition to the ASC, Wheeling Hospital said it would renovate the Belmont Community Health Center in Bellaire.
4. The health center will offer services previously offered at the now closed Belmont Community Hospital.
