WellSpan Health to open 4-room ASC in Pennsylvania

York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health is planning a new ASC and medical office building in Carlisle, Pa. 

The ASC will include four operating rooms and provide outpatient services including hernia repairs, tumor removals and biopsies, on‑site imaging and laboratory services, according to a May 5 news release from the organization.

WellSpan Health will also consolidate primary and specialty care practices on the campus.

The facilities will be adjacent to the newly opened WellSpan Carlisle Hospital, which includes a full-service emergency department and 10 inpatient beds, the release said.
