Virginia eye group seeks permission to establish ASC — 4 details

Rockingham Eye Surgery Center, a newly established limited liability company, is seeking approval to establish an ophthalmic ASC in Harrisonburg, Va.

Four details:

1. Rockingham Eye Surgery Center would have one operating room and lease about 5,700 square feet in a new building. The building has yet to be constructed.

2. The ASC’s medical staff would be physicians from Rockingham Eye Physicians and Associates, a Harrisonburg-based group.

3. Rockingham Eye Physicians and Associates would have an adjoining office.

4. The Virginia Department of Health received the entity’s application on Aug. 1. It has yet to approve or deny the project.
