Virginia ASC proposes 1-OR expansion — 3 details

Inova Franconia-Springfield Ambulatory Surgery Center in Alexandria, Va., is seeking permission to expand.

Three details:

1. The ASC proposed adding one general purpose operating room.

2. The Virginia Department of Health received the center’s application on Aug. 1. A decision on the project is pending.

3. Established in 2001, Inova Franconia-Springfield Surgery Center offers anesthesia, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics and urology, among other services.
