VCU Health opens $6.4M outpatient clinic

Richmond, Va.-based VCU Health cut the ribbon on a 13,000-square-foot outpatient clinic for liver patients. 

The Liver and Metabolic Health Outpatient Clinic is expected to serve 3,000 new liver patients for VCU Health in its first year, according to an Oct. 13 news release from VCU Health.

The $6.4 million facility includes 13 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, two infusion bays, two treatment rooms and space for four specialty clinics. 

VCU Health is planning to add more specialties to provide integrated care for patients with liver disease. 

The center officially opens to patients in November, the release said.
