Vanderbilt University plans pediatric clinic, ASC on proposed extension — 4 insights

Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University plans to build a pediatric clinic and ASC on a proposed road extension in Murfreesboro, Tenn., the Daily News Journal reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The road will be constructed as Vanderbilt builds its facilities.

2. The clinic will be 37,500 square feet once completed, the Daily News Journal reports.

3. Vanderbilt paid between $3.8 million and $4.8 million for the clinic's plot of land.

4. The road expansion is part of the city's 2040 Major Thoroughfare Plan.
