Utah hospital opens multispecialty pediatric clinic

Fort Worth, Texas-based Cook Children’s Health Care System will open a multispecialty clinic in Plano, Texas.

According to an April 30 news release, the clinic is the system’s seventh multispecialty location, joining sites in Alliance, Denton, Hurst, Mansfield, Southlake and Walsh Ranch. It offers access to specialties including neurology, endocrinology, pediatric surgery, pulmonology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, plastic surgery and orthopedics.

Cook Children’s physician specialists from the Prosper Specialty clinics will rotate through the Plano site, while full-time on-site clinical staff, an X-ray technician and front desk personnel support operations.

The facility includes 10 exam rooms, one of which will flex as a procedure room, and an X-ray unit. Damian Campbell, DO, a Cook Children’s pediatric neurologist.
