United Surgical Partners International has opened a new ASC as part of the Mercy Medical Office Building in Durango, Colo.

The two-story, 37,000-square-foot building includes a 14,500-square-foot surgery center with three operating rooms. It is located next to Mercy Hospital, a part of the Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health system, and will expand access to outpatient surgical care in the area, according to a July 17 report from Mile High CRE.

Vertix Builders, a Colorado-based healthcare construction firm, led the project.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery. Apply for complimentary registration now.
