Reno-based Urology Nevada is expanding its urologic care services across northern Nevada, Northern Nevada Business Weekly reported Oct. 2.
The practice runs care centers in Reno, Sparks and Carson City, and the Carson City location is now open to patients. Urology Nevada says the site brings the practice’s patient-centered care and more resources for managing urologic health to the Carson City community.
Urology Nevada treats bladder, kidney and prostate conditions. Its services include advanced cancer treatment, specialized urologic surgery, chronic care management, erectile dysfunction treatment, hormone replacement therapy, and pediatric and gynecologic urology.
All of the practice’s physicians are board-certified. Dr. Gerald Gilbert, who moved from Pennsylvania, is one of its recent physician hires.
Urology Nevada works alongside two affiliated organizations: Oncology Nevada, a radiation therapy center, and Surgery Nevada, an outpatient surgical facility. Together they cover diagnosis, surgery and cancer treatment.
Urology Nevada has served northern Nevada for nearly 20 years.
