Harlingen (Texas) Medical Center is set to cut the ribbon on its advanced surgical institute on Aug. 6.
The Advanced Surgical Institute at HMC will provide endoscopic, general, orthopedic and urology procedures, according to a July 31 news release from Harlingen Medical Center.
The center will feature a da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotic-assisted and minimally invasive procedures.
“Our goal is for patients to feel like they’re receiving care in a specialty surgical center rather than experiencing a traditional hospital stay,” Todd Mann, CEO of Harlingen Medical Center, said in the release. “The Advanced Surgical Institute at HMC will emphasize comfort and convenience — and personalized attention will set this institute apart.”
