The ASC, which originally began the application process in April, earned approval at an Oct. 18 meeting.
The ASC, which is expected to open in 2026, will have four operating rooms, one procedure room, 10 pre- and post-surgery bays, as well as waiting areas, business offices and support spaces.
The ASC will be staffed by surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical nurses and other healthcare professionals, according to the report.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
