New ASC Development

As procedures continue to migrate to ASCs, a growing number of hospitals and health systems are prioritizing outpatient surgery ventures in 2024.

Clearway Pain Solutions has signed a lease for 10,490 square feet of space at a medical office building in Timonium, Md., according to a July 18 report from The Maryland Daily Record.

Real estate company  St. Joe Company, Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial Healthcare and Tallahassee-based Florida State University announced their plans for a joint venture project featuring an ASC, according to a news release on July 17.

Manitowoc, Wis.-based Renovo Health opened the door to a new direct-pay ASC that aims to cut out the need for payers, WeAreGreenBay.com, the website for WFRV Local 5,  reported July 16.

Minneapolis-based medical real estate firm Davis has opened Eagan (Minn.) Speciality Center, a 36,100-square-foot  facility.

Columbus-based OhioHealth ise opening a medical office space featuring 18 discrete physician clinics.

The Johnson City (Tenn.) Eye Surgery Center has broken ground on a new ASC, according to a July 11 report from CBS affiliate WJHL.

University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System affiliate UAB Medical West has opened a 127,000-square-foot, seven-story medical office building.

Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health  is expanding its campus to include an ASC, News13 reported July 9.

Akron (Ohio) Children's Hospital's new pediatric ASC will open its doors July 23.
