New ASC Development

Virginia Eye Consultants and partner ophthalmology network CVP opened an ASC, according to a July 19 LinkedIn post. 

The Genesis HealthCare System of Zanesville will break ground July 23 on a $45 million medical center with an ASC in Coshocton, Ohio, the Coshocton Tribune reported. 

Construction is underway on Vancouver (Wash.) Clinic's $70 million ambulatory surgery center. 

An ophthalmology ASC will open in Butte, Mont., in August, according to a Facebook post by the center.

Surgery Center Services of America has opened Greater Binghamton (N.Y.) Eye Surgery Center, CEO Philip Blair said in a July 14 email.

HCA Healthcare West Florida is planning a $50 million surgical hospital, dubbed the Hospital for Endocrine Surgery, in Tampa, Fla., according to a July news release.

Rockville, Md.-based Shady Grove Fertility opened a clinic with an ASC in Denver, according to a July 12 news release. 

Jacksonvilla, Fla., officials have granted permits for the buildout of a $5 million ASC near the University of North Florida, The Florida Times-Union reported July 11.
