New ASC Development

Children's Hospital of San Antonio is building a pediatric surgery center at its downtown campus, according to the San Antonio Business Journal.

St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare converted a former grocery store in Edwardsville, Ill., into an ASC, St. Louis Business Journal reported Oct. 19. The center began seeing patients earlier in October.

Cleveland Clinic Euclid (Ohio) Hospital will begin a $1 million project to expand its outpatient services in November, the hospital said. 

University of California San Francisco Medical Center at Mount Zion renovated its inpatient surgery center and will reopen it as the hospital's orthopedic hub, the hospital said Oct. 18.

Digestive Care Center of Excellence will open a new facility with a surgery center Oct. 19, according to local news organization 44News.

Women's health clinic Viva Eve opened a fibroid surgical center in New York City, the company said Oct. 18. 

Seneca Hospital plans to expand its facility in Chester, Calif., by adding a surgical suite and hospital space, the hospital said Oct. 15. 

Montefiore Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital opened its new ASC to patients, the hospital said Oct. 16.
