New ASC Development

A physician group is opening an independent ASC in Roswell, N.M., the Roswell Daily Record reported Aug. 4.

Winfield, Ala.-based Northwest Regional Health and UAB Medicine, based in Birmingham, are partnering for a new surgery center.

The University of Chicago Medicine is breaking ground on an $86 million Crown Point, Ind., project that will be the system's largest off-site facility, Inside Indiana Business reported Aug. 2.
