Here are five California ASCs that have opened or have plans to open that Becker's has reported on since June 6:

A 30-story, 435,000-square-foot medical office building on the Upper East Side of New York City is set to be the first privately built medical office building in the area, according to a July 17 report from Real Estate Weekly.

Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours is planning to expand its St. Francis Medical Center campus in Midlothian, Va., by adding an ASC, Richmond BizSense, reported July 17.

A medical office building is set to replace chain restaurant Macaroni Grill in Greensboro, N.C., according to a July 12 report from the Triad Business Journal.

Gaithersburg, Md.-based Adventist HealthCare has opened a new ASC at its National Harbor, Md., location. The new outpatient center is projected to perform 300 surgeries per month in its first year of operation.
