New ASC Development

Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System has opened a 15,000-square-foot ASC at its Morristown Medical Center Health Pavilion in Rockaway, N.J., according to a Nov. 7 report from NJBiz. 

State College, Pa.-based Mount Nittany Health opened its new $90 million outpatient center in Patton, Pa., on Nov. 2.

Cleveland, Ohio-based University Hospitals broke ground on a health campus in Amherst that will include a two-story medical office building and an orthopedic-focused ASC, according to a Nov. 1 report from local news station WTAM.

Becker's reported on 18 ASCs that opened or were announced in October:

University of California Davis Health has broken ground on its 267,000-square-foot Sacramento-based ASC, the 48X Complex.

Bon Secours has broken ground on the new 98,000-square-foot Harbour View Hospital in Suffolk, Va., that will include 18 medical-surgical beds, four operating rooms and an ASC expansion, according to an Oct. 25 report from local news outlet 13NewsNow. 

The Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor (Mich.) Healthcare System is opening an outpatient clinic in Howell, Mich., Livingston Daily reported Oct. 25.

Skagit (Wash.) Regional Health completed structural work on its new ASC in Mount Vernon, the Skagit Valley Herald reported Oct. 21.
