Providence-based Ortho Rhode Island began developing a medical office building and surgery center in Warwick, R.I., NEREJ reports.

1. Ortho Rhode Island broke ground on the development April 25.

2. The combined development will be 100,000 square feet.

3. Ortho Rhode Island will employ 275 people on the campus.

4. The Carpionato Group is developing the site and is also redeveloping a nearby hotel, which Ortho Rhode Island patients will be able to utilize.
