What you should know:
1. The 28,696-square-foot outpatient surgery center will offer orthopedic, podiatry and pain management procedures.
2. Hospitalists, which aren’t usually present in surgery centers, will monitor patients postoperatively.
3. The facility features four operating rooms and two procedure rooms, as well as interventional program units.
4. The perioperative area includes eight preoperative bays, eight postoperative bays, four recliner bays and a five-bed observational unit.
5. The surgery center is slated for completion in November.
