Ophthalmology ASC that would cost nearly $34M awaits approval

Johnson City, N.Y.-based Binghamton ASC wants to open a single-specialty surgery center in Vestal, N.Y., for nearly $34 million.

The New York State Department of Health is reviewing Binghamton ASC’s certificate of need application to build a 7,100-square-foot ASC for $3,885,585. Binghamton ASC is doing business as Greater Binghamton Eye Surgery Center.

If approved, the ASC would have two operating rooms and one procedure room devoted to ophthalmology.
