Ohio State breaks ground on $183M outpatient center

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and city officials from Powell, Ohio, celebrated the start of construction on an $183 million outpatient facility.

Outpatient Care Powell will feature a two-story health center and a five-story medical building, according to an April 2 news release from the Columbus-based academic medical center. The location will offer services including urgent care, imaging, physical therapy and endoscopies.

The 207,000-square foot facility is slated to open in August 2026, according to the release.
