The expansion includes eight new physicians and more than 100 new team members, according to a Sept. 24 news release from the system. Ochsner added six pediatric physicians, including two general pediatricians and four specialists, as well as two obstetrician-gynecologists.
The completed expansion is part of Ochsner Baton Rouge’s $50 million, multiphase effort to expand access to care. Ochsner plans to hire 80 physicians and advanced practice providers over the next two years, the release said.
The Grove is an outpatient and short-stay facility providing multispecialty care. The organization has 650 physicians and advanced practice providers across the region.
