Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health cut the ribbon on the final phase of its South Asheville Medical Park in Asheville, N.C.
The newest phase includes an ASC, which will begin providing care to patients this fall, and an imaging center, according to a Sept. 24 news release from Novant Health.
The 38,000-square-foot medical campus is also home to Novant Health Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Novant Health Women’s Specialty Care and Messino Cancer Centers.
“By co-locating specialists, imaging and outpatient surgery, we’re making it easier for patients to move from diagnosis to treatment and ongoing care while helping build stronger healthcare services for Western North Carolina,” Stan Fuller, MD, senior vice president and physician in chief for Novant Health Surgical Institute and Western North Carolina, said in the release.
