North Carolina hospital gets green light for new outpatient surgery center

Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health received approval from the state to build an outpatient surgery center on the campus of Cone Health MedCenter Kernersville (N.C.), Rockingham Now reported Aug. 10.

The 15,500-square-foot facility will feature two operating rooms, an endoscopy room and a procedure room.

Construction for the project could begin next year with an opening in 2023.
