North Carolina approves ASC for Triad Center for Surgery, denies 2 other proposals

The North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulations gave conditional approval to Greensboro, N.C.-based Triad Center for Surgery’s proposed ASC, the Winston-Salem Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The ASC would have two operating rooms and three procedure rooms.

2. The project would cost $7.2 million.

3. Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health’s proposal to add two ORs to a Clemmons, N.C.-based multispecialty ASC was denied.

4.The health department also denied an application from Greensboro-based Cone Health for a 15,500-square foot ASC in Kernersville, N.C.
