New York providers share more details about $6.7M ASC — 4 insights

After announcing their joint replacement focused surgery center in early March, Albany Medical Center, Saratoga Hospital and Capital Region North shared more details about their proposed ASC with Albany Business Review.

What you should know:

1. Albany, N.Y.-based providers Albany Medical Center and Capital Region North as well as Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-based Saratoga Hospital are building the $6.78 million Saratoga Partners North surgery center in Malta, N.Y.

2. The center could open in late 2020, if the groups receive appropriate approvals.

3. The surgery center will be on the first floor and will have six operating rooms, with the second floor housing physician offices.

4. The center will be next to Saratoga Hospital and Albany Med's joint-venture urgent care project.
