New York hospital seeks CON for $10M surgery center — 3 things to know

White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital plans to offer ambulatory surgical services at a proposed $10.1 million clinic, according to Crain's New York Business.

What you should know:

1. The hospital filed a certificate of need application with the state, saying approval is "necessary to meet the high demand for outpatient surgical services" and to advance the hospital's mission.

2. The clinic would be within three miles of the main hospital campus and feature four operating rooms.

3. White Plains Hospital would offer multispecialty services at the clinic.
