Mount Sinai opens new outpatient practice

New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System has opened a new outpatient clinic in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens.

Mount Sinai Queens-Crescent Street offers a variety of outpatient primary and specialty practices, according to a Jan. 17 news release. The facility includes centers for hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology/diabetes care, rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and heart care.

A retail pharmacy and an urgent care clinic associated with the hospital’s emergency room are expected to open on the center’s first floor within the next year, the release said.
