The center will serve as the new location for the current  27,000-square-foot  Midwest Surgery Center, of Woodbury, Minn., according to a July 15 report from REJournals.

The ASC is a joint venture between St. Paul Eye Clinic and Midwest ENT. The current facility suffered from a lack of capacity and an outdated interior.

The new facility will expand capacity for the system.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
