Michigan city council approves SurgCenter Development’s proposed ASC — 3 insights

SurgCenter Development received city plan commission approval to build a surgery center in Boyne City, Mich., the Petoskey News Review reports.

1. The Townson, Md.-based ASC management company proposed building an orthopedic facility called Boyne City SurgCenter.

2. The center will be 7,269 square feet if approved by the city’s common council.

3. Boyne City SurgCenter would feature two large procedure rooms, one small procedure room, pre- and postoperative recovery spaces, a waiting room and physician offices.
