Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health has completed construction on its $20 million ASC in Myrtle Beach, S.C., My Horry News reported April 2.
The ASC features four operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 17 pre- and post-operation rooms. The facility was built on McLeod’s Carolina Forest campus, adjacent to a new hospital that is slated for completion in 2026.
The ASC aims to service emerging patient needs in an area expected to grow by 15,000 residents in the next 10 to 15 years, according to the report.
